Everything is linked
Each KPI and KRI points to a department objective, each department objective points to a company objective, and each action points to the measure it is meant to fix. Results roll up by themselves, so you can see how every department and every strategic objective is doing.
What is inside
- Dashboard: headline numbers, every strategic objective and every department rated On track, Watch or Off track, charts by department and by month, and a list of only what needs attention, reds first.
- Department view: pick a department and see its objectives, measures, 12 months of history and open actions.
- Setup: company, departments and the reporting month. Change the month and the whole file follows.
- Strategy and Cascade: company objectives broken into department objectives with one owner each, plus checks for anything not linked or not measured.
- Measures: one register for KPIs and KRIs with formula, source, owner, limits, escalation and the action when a KRI goes red.
- Tracker: type the monthly result. Status and trend work themselves out.
- Actions: due dates, owners and overdue flags, counted by department.
- Heatmap: every measure, every month, in one grid.
- Review log: every change to a target or limit, why, and who approved it.
How to use it
Start on the "Start here" sheet. The file comes filled in with a made-up retail company (January to September 2026) so you can see how it all connects. Yellow cells with blue text are yours to fill in. Everything else works itself out.
